About Silence (2003–2012)

Three early laptop computers open in a row on a stage, lit with cold blue light. (About Silence).

Every showing of About Silence is different and the performers all come from the arts community who are local to each place it is performed. These performers do not rehearse and are given only small directions just before the show starts.

About Silence has been performed by a long list of artists, programmers, and curators including Grace Surman, Gary Winters, Andrew McKinnon, Mabou Mines, Julie Atlas Muz, Mark Russell, and Kristen Marting,

Written by Peter S. Petralia with music by [zygote].

About Silence was created in 2003 and has been performed in New York, Glasgow, Edinburgh and London, produced by Proto-type Theater.
