All next week, the amazing BBC Radio Lincolnshire are running a special week of programming looking at the impact of the suffragettes. They’ve helped us to produce a radio play around the inspiring life of a local unsung heroine – Jessie Boucherett – who helped first petition parliament for the vote for women and was one of the catalysts of the suffragette movement.
You can hear the 4-part drama serialised next week on Nicola Gilroy’s afternoon show (23rd-26th Nov) and the whole thing at 9pm on Friday 27th November.
